Fiona Korwin-Pawlowski

Fiona Korwin-Pawlowski is Senior Director at Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF) serving as the organization’s lead on programming and grant management. CLF funds and supports climate resilience and justice projects and was recognized in 2020 by Fast Company as a Most Innovative Not-For-Profit Organization for “approaching climate disaster relief preventatively.”
Fiona has over 15 years of experience building programs and partnerships for organizations ranging from United Nations agencies to think tanks to small, grassroots nonprofits. At UNICEF USA she worked on the development of the organization's first corporate disaster response program. In her previous roles with Global Citizen, she led nonprofit partnerships, international advocacy campaigns and events.
A specialist in developing structure and strategy for new organizations and initiatives, Fiona is a founding Board Member of Project CETI, a 2020 TED Audacious Project and currently serves on its Global Advisory Board. Fiona co-founded Project Istwa in 2011, a nonprofit organization that produced Photovoice (photography and writing) and youth development workshops across Haiti. She is also Co-founder of the production, experiential and branding house, Owl Bridge Media (OBM).
Fiona has a BA in Politics from Oberlin College and an MS in Global Affairs focused on International Development and Humanitarian Assistance from New York University. Her thesis and companion photobook Having A Voice: Communication between Residents and Organizations in IDP and Refugee Camps was a best thesis nominee. She is a member of the Bard College Globalization and International Affairs Program Alumni/ae Board.
