On August 1, FENTY Beauty, Robyn “Rihanna” Fenty’s namesake cosmetic brand, announced a new partnership with the Clara Lionel Foundation to help fund mission critical work in education and emergency responsiveness.

CLF Visits Barbados to Support Ongoing Programs

During the second annual Clara Lionel Foundation trip to Rihanna’s hometown of Barbados, Executive Director Justine Lucas and Board of Directors member Monica Fenty donated two neonatal incubators to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) pediatric center, and presented micro grants to five local schools and a non-profit organization, including Rihanna’s alma maters.

CLF Partners with ofo to Provide Bikes for Girls in Malawi

Rihanna is determined to give the opportunity to get an education to as many girls as possible — and not only via scholarships (although she funds plenty of those as well). On Tuesday, the star announced that her Clara Lionel Foundation, which she founded in 2012 and named after her grandparents, has teamed up with ofo, a Beijing-based bike-share initiative, to provide bikes to young girls in Malawi to help them get to school quickly and safely.
