Dennett Edwards

Dennett Edwards is the Director of Finance at the Clara Lionel Foundation, overseeing fiscal and operational functions to support its mission. With over 20 years of experience, she has led financial and operational strategies domestically and globally, including in Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa.

Before joining the Clara Lionel Foundation, Dennett served as Head of Operations at The Straus Foundation, where she modernized financial and administrative systems, driving efficiency and aligning operations with the organization’s priorities.

In addition to her professional roles, Dennett is deeply committed to community impact. She serves as the Board President of Lifting Labels, an organization dedicated to creating employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for Returning Citizens. She is also the Board Treasurer of Love & Cornbread, which works to improve food equity and health outcomes for overlooked communities in Baltimore.
