OUR WORK

CLF is not just another foundation

By taking risks and testing new partnership models, we’re not only funding innovative programs around the world, we’re redefining what is possible within philanthropy.

Climate Resilience

Climate change is resulting in an increase in natural disasters globally. That means more people, particularly vulnerable communities, are at risk, and economic damage in the hundreds of billions of dollars. Rather than simply respond, we are harnessing the power of philanthropy to help more communities prepare for and withstand disasters.

Justice

In the U.S. and Caribbean our justice grants support marginalized people, women, youth, and the advancement of Indigenous rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, racial equality, and health.  Our work in this area is particularly focused on championing the organizations and leaders on the frontlines of the climate justice movement.
