Each year, the Clara Lionel Foundation Barbados Scholarship is awarded to two talented students, graduating from secondary school in Barbados at the time of application, who plan to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc (ISTS) manages the administration of the Clara Lionel Foundation Barbados Scholarship.
To begin your application, you must:
- Create an ISTS account
- Select “ADD NEW APPLICATION”
- Enter the program key “CLF”
- Begin your application
WHO'S ELIGIBLE?
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, you must:
- Be a native citizen of Barbados
- Be a student completing their final year of secondary school in Barbados
- Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at any accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school (or equivalent) for the entire upcoming academic year *
* Preference given to students who are attending schools in the Caribbean and the southeastern United States as well as focusing on climate justice issues within the Caribbean
WHEN DOES IT OPEN?
The scholarship application will open on April 15, 2024, and the deadline to apply is May 31, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be selected in July.
